Stand F14, 3-4 March 2012
The Lark Class always enjoys exhibiting at the Dinghy Show at Alexandra Palace and this year is certainly no exception, especially as 2012 will be a memorable year for the class as it moves its highly anticipated National Championships to a 4-day event of the Queen Jubilee weekend.
The class will be displaying a brand new ‘Ovington Boats’ built Lark on the stand. Ovington Boats took over building the Lark in 2009 and so far have been producing some of the finest looking Larks the class has ever seen, so be sure to go along and have a look.
Also on the stand will be a range of the 2012 Lark Clothing Merchandise, including branded T-shirts, Hoodies, Towels and Visors. Have a look at the great colour and design options that are on offer.
The Larks are a class that offers Friendly competitive racing for all ages and abilities, so whether you are a current Lark sailor or you think the Lark might be the class for you then go and visit the Lark stand to meet up with current Lark sailors and have a chat about everything Lark, including buying a new or 2nd hand boat, the fantastic circuit the Larks have planned for the year including this years eagerly awaited National Championships in Plymouth, or even just tips on how to make your current Lark go faster. The Larks even have guest appearances throughout the weekend from top sail makers, boat builders and National Champions ready to answer your burning questions
Dan Watson, Lark Class Chairman said “We are all highly thrilled about this years show. Everyone has put a lot of hard work in to making the stand the best ever. The class is in very good standing at the moment with new boats being sold and new members joining the class. The Class is also getting very excited about the forthcoming National Championships in June, which is sure to be a classic, in its one-off 4-day weekend format. So we are looking forward to Dinghy Show in telling everybody about the great reasons why they should take part and join the class.”
The Lark Class stand is F14 in the West Hall.
