Laser Vago Northern Training and Fun Open at West Riding in June

Following the success of last year's event, the Laser Vago Northern Open/Training/Fun Meeting will once again be held at West Riding Sailing Club, this time celebrating the Diamond Jubilee and the Club's 75th Anniversary over the extended weekend.

The format will be similar to last year with 4 days of short duration racing, training and coaching for all formats of Vago. The event will again cater for everyone from complete beginners to seasoned racers, with personal and group tuition available from our friendly Vago experts and champions on topics from rigging and trapezing right through to race rules and tactics: and it's all with an emphasis on fun!

Games, kids activities, quizes and general chaos will be on the agenda for the non sailors and families while extra informal sailing formats may also include team and relay racing along with speed trial, depending on the weather of course.

The event includes FREE on-site camping for tents on the lawn and camper vans in the car park, event photos and videos, food at reasonable prices from our private cafe and of course the bar and TV to celebrate the Jubilee!

To be held at Langstone Harbour Race Weekend The second Vago open of the year will be held on 3rd – 5th June as part of Langstone Harbour Race Weekend.
