The ACO Musto Skiff World Championship sailors were held on shore at WPNSA as the wind was very weak and unstable in direction.

So as not to waste any time the class association quickly rescheduled the class sailor forum, we don't hold an AGM as the class chooses to vote through an on-line survey at the end of the year as that gives all owners a say not just those who attend the championships.

The Austrian team presented a great overview of the European Championships to be hosted at Attersee in Austria in 2013. After that the next Worlds Championships will be Perth in early 2015.

As the wind built a little and the fog cleared the fleet were taken into the harbour to try and get some more races on the board. Unfortunately the wind didn't stablise sufficiently to get a good and fair race. Everyone was very happy when race officer David Campbell-James called a halt to the proceeding.

Although the racing wasn't possible some members of the fleet still managed to entertain themselves by wheelieing their Musto Skiffs skywards. Bob Yeamans showed clear mastership of this activity and was able to send his skiff skywards to order, this maneuver is now to be referred to as a "Full Yeamans".

This evening the class is looking forward to a hog roast followed by a few beers but not too many perhaps as the schedule for tomorrow is breeze and four races.
