The RYA is urging sailing clubs across the UK to book onto a series of free interactive workshops running this winter, which will help to prepare for the 2014 season and beyond.
Supported by Gallagher Heath, RYA Club Workshops will be delivered by RYA Regional Development Officers (RDOs) and have been divided into three topics: planning, resourcing and promoting.
From planning a club programme to advertising what you have to offer, the workshops will cover the issues that could make a huge difference to the future of your club.
"As the autumn approaches we know that clubs begin to plan their 2014 summer programme and are looking forward to the future" explains RYA RDO Manager Chris McCormack.
"At the RYA and within the RYA Regional Development Team, we are also looking at how we can support our sailing clubs with advice to help them plan and grow over the short, medium and long term".
RYA Club Workshops will last for two and a half hours and will provide opportunity to hear about best practice, share ideas and to move ahead with positive actions.
