Grand Final of Virtual Sailing World Championship to be streamed live

On 26th April 2015, the first-ever Virtual Sailing World Championship kicked off on SailX.com. For the last 5 weeks this event has seen 2,000+ competitors from 70+ countries competing 24/7 and amassing over 130,000 starts between them.

This Sunday at 2000 GMT the World Championship will come to a conclusion with the Grand Final: a single 5-race regatta between the Top-30 ranked competitors - winner-takes-all.

This regatta will be streamed LIVE on www.SailX.com (no log-in required) and will include:

  • Commentary from Andy Rice (Editor, SailJuice.com)
  • Interviews with World Champion contenders
  • Interview with Amando Estela, SailX Founder
  • A live-chat (instant message) session for all watchers
