With the 8am start a sleepy fleet set sail into what looked like a drifter. However once over to the West side of the lake a good Northerly had built and provided the fleet with an exciting first race.

It was the Swiss team of Claude Mermod & Ruedi Moser who took the first race and with good position in the following races are now championship leaders.

The second race of the day was held straight after and as the final breath of the morning breeze faded the fleet finished and were sent home. Lunch followed while the fleet waited for the third race of the day.

A classic light southerly came in and with a very port bias line and much crashing Allan and Christina Tyler got away to a flying start and were never challenged taking a very popular win.

Racing continues on Wednesday with a later start.
