Enterprise Worlds at Negombo, Sri Lanka - Overall

The Sri Lanka Insurance Company sponsored Wrold Enterprise Sailing Championship was brought to a successful close last evening with five days of pleasant rain-free weather with winds that ranged from strong to steady in Negombo, Sri Lanka.

Richard Estaugh & Pete Rowley came out as Champion after 9 races and opted out of racing in the last race. Second and third positions were taken up by the two Pakistani contenders, Mamoon Sadiq & Abdul Hameed and Zahid Rauf & Rana Waqas respectively.

There was a strong competition for the Ladies Trophy between Anne Jackson, Jane Scutt and Alice Allen. Going into the last two races, Alice and Anne were on 101 and 102 respectively. Eventually, Anne came out on top with 138 points and has taken the Ladies' Trophy.
