With conditions varying from a zephyr to force 3 and direction from North West to South East, the Splash fleet were given a true test of their skills.

Throughout the weekend the racing was very tight with battles for position going on throughout the fleet. So tight in fact that six positions were settled on tie break rulings. Leading the pack however was Simon Barker who took five first places despite a spectacular capsize and swim in the final race. Tom Barker took the final race and second place overall. Victoria Marfleet put together an impressively consistent set of results pushing Tom and Simon in every race.

The truly international flavour of the class was represented by Spencer Loxton from New Zealand, who spectacularly took race 4. Will Powell, James Morley and Will Johnson provided us with superbly tight racing settled finally in the last two feet of the last race.

The biggest battle of the weekend was between Bradley Field, Jessica Hewes, Roo Clark and Chris Smith who battled for places throughout the series little surprise, they all finished on the same points.

As usual we were superbly supported by AWSC ashore and afloat.
