Dockmate joins Admiral Club of the National Safe Boating Council

by Andrew Golden 1 Aug 2019 13:38 BST

Dockmate® U.S., which offers advanced handheld wireless remote controls for boats, announced today it has joined the National Safe Boating Council's (NSBC) Admiral Club.

The highest tier of membership in the NSBC, the Admiral Club is an exclusive group of supporters focused on helping the organization succeed in increasing safe boating practices.

"There is no greater cause in our industry than to support safer and more enjoyable boating," said Brian Sheehan, Dockmate U.S. spokesperson. "Dockmate is designed to make low speed maneuvering and docking safer and stress-free. The goals of the NSBC aligns perfectly with our own. We are grateful for the vital work they do and are happy to support the organization's ongoing mission."

The NSBC is a catalyst for recreational boating safety dedicated to advancing and promoting a safer recreational boating experience through education, outreach and training. The NSBC was organized in September 1958 and today has a diverse membership of over 500 U.S. and international organizations with an interest in boating and water safety and education.

As the premier organization in recreational boating safety, NSBC serves as the essential vehicle through which the recreational boating community unites to achieve positive, tangible, and measurable outcomes. NSBC's actions prove the value of active membership, encourage increased levels of commitment to safe boating practices, and fuel even greater collective success.

"We welcome Dockmate to our growing list of supporters," said Peg Phillips, executive director, NSBC. "The vital work of our team cannot be undertaken without likeminded patrons, whether companies or individuals, from the marine industry."

Delivering "plug-and-play" connectivity with engine and thruster systems, Dockmate's wireless remote control allows users to remain in command of their boat's movement while away from the helm, often where visibility is limited. This provides a safer and more enjoyable boating experience.
