Time for a mid-term report! We had an 11 event series planned at the beginning of the year and so far only one has had to be cancelled and two re-scheduled.

This means there are still four events left in the calendar including the Midland Area championships at Staunton Harold on 9/10th October - keep your fingers crossed!

Turnouts have been in line with previous years so far, which is encouraging - people are coming out to travel and sail again!

Six events have been held, up to 10th July, producing four different winners, so the series is nicely poised with a large number of possible outcomes, indeed some who have only completed one event could win the series.

However the leading boat at the moment is Team Telford from Bassenthwaite Lake with an impressive 2,1,3,1 scoreline.

Next event is at South Staffs on Saturday 4th September – come and join in the fun. You need to complete two starred events and two non-starred events to qualify.
