The HP30 Class recently "met" to approve the 2022 season and confirm entries for the year ahead. Fourteen teams have already confirmed their entries for the 2022 programme as the class now heads into its seventh season.
Two of the boats have recently changed hands, but most importantly, the boats will remain in the HP30 fleet and in addition, two more teams are looking to join over the winter, so the expectation is to have more than fourteen boats on each start line in 2022.
"Given how close the racing was last year with, it will be incredibly exciting to see these cracking boats racing against each other in 2022", comments Joe Hall, Class Manager.
One of the highlights of the season will be the HP30 Class Nationals hosted by the Island Sailing Club and incorporating the Round the Island Race. Teams will enjoy two days of windward / leeward races, followed by the non-discardable finale, of the RTi. The HP30 Class will be extending invitations to HP30 Class compliant owners to encourage them to come and take part in this cracking mid-summer event.
Now well established the fleet offers a friendly home for owners wanting to combine a little more of a "work out" whilst sailing, than some of the other fleets on offer. For more information visit www.hp30class.com or email
