Circolo della Vela Marciana Marina is pleased to announce that it will host the 10th Edition of the prestigious S&S Swan Rendezvous.

An important anniversary for the legendary 'S&S Swans' designed by the famous American studio Sparkman & Stephens. An impressive fleet, as of today 42 yachts have expressed their intention to participate in the Rendezvous. A record number! Coming together in a series of regattas racing by the shores of the principal island of the Tuscan archipelago from the 28th June to the 2nd of July.

The Owners and their beloved yachts - and also members of the S&S Swan Association- will be coming from all over the World such as Australia, Finland, France, Germany, UK, Italy, Portugal, Spain and Switzerland.

Besides the competitive racing programme, there will also be many shore events for Owners and crew to come together at this great event that takes place every two years - there will be a talk about the 1979 Fastnet Race where the S&S Swans were indomitable protagonists and luckily unharmed. Also a talk about the Ocean Globe Race 2023 with participants of the race and Owners of S&S Swans who will be at the Rendezvous.

Mr. Enzo Danielli, President of the Elba Sailing Association and the Sailing Club of Marciana Marina are very happy to host this 10th edition of the S&S Swan Rendezvous. We are honoured by the decision of holding the event here in Marciana.

As in the previous editions, we will welcome boats from many countries on our pontoons; using our past technical experiences, we will prepare courses for racing around the bays and shores of the northern coast of the island giving the crews the opportunity to admire the beauty of our island.

The event will finish with a prize-giving and dinner to be held at our club.

Last but not least, this year the event will be enriched by a new solidarity aimed at charity:

The sailing club of Marciana Marina will donate a part of the registration fees paid by the participants to the non-profit association "Abbracciamoli" who operate in the field of the fight against infant leukemia and the donation will aid the pedia-tric hematology wards in hospitals.

The words of Matteo Salamon:

I am even more honoured to be present in Elba for this 10th edition of the S&S Swan Rendezvous with our friends of the Marciana Marina Sailing Club.

A Rendezvous with a record number or participants thanks to the amazing Owners of these exceptional yachts, pushed by a passion that has no limits. The clear crystal waters of Marciana Marina and the magical town, envied by the whole world will be the stunning backdrop for the most elegant boats in the world: The Sparkman&Stephens Swan!

The 10th Edition is dedicated to Lars Störm, recently deceased, the greatest friend of all the S&S Swan Owners have ever had for over 30 years, former head of the technical department of the Finnish boatyard.

The Rendez-vous takes place thanks to the organization of Marciana Marina Sailing Club in collaboration with the S&S Swan Asso-ciation and with the patronage of the Marciana Marina Municipality and some amazing Partners, whose support is irreplaceable:
