For our Sun Odyssey owners the objective is to be there for Saturday evening of the 13th to meet your fellow Jeanneau owners and enjoy a function and drinks. Pantaneous Insurance are onboard again, this year as the major sponsors.

If the weather isn't ideal for the sail there on the Saturday, you are welcome to cruise down before that. If there is enough interest to have a Sun Odyssey passage race on the Saturday then prizes will be awarded for that, and if enough 349's decided to 'pace' each other then prizes may appear for that too!

As always we are well supported by those businesses that we work with to deliver and maintain your yachts, so we thank all of those companies who have again agreed to support this event.

In conjunction with the cruising division we will also host the Sun Fast Cup, which will be awarded to the winner of a race from Middle Head to Shell Harbour on the 13th. It will be open to any Sun Fast model raced short-handed or fully crewed. Our friends at BoatCrewGear.com will be the major sponsor of the cup.

At the Saturday evening function those Sun Fast skippers who took part in the recent Sydney-Hobart will offer some highlights of the race in which six took part, all in the two-handed division.

Over the years that we've been hosting these Jeanneau Rendezvous events we have had adventures to Port Stephens and Newcastle, so this is an opportunity to head south in company and see for yourselves what a fantastic new destination we have available to us.

The marina entrance is accessible in any weather and the berths are extremely roomy compared to anything that we have in Sydney. It's 60 Nm from South Head, so a suggested departure of 7am with just over 10 hours of daylight means that we need to aim to average a little over 6 knots.

For those coming from beyond Sydney Harbour we will look at securing space at Middle Harbour Yacht Club for Friday night.
