The Mahurangi Cruising Club's Annual Regatta for Classic Yachts was sailed on January 25, at Mahurangi Harbour on a course around Saddle Island at the entrance to the harbour.

Sailing in a 20kt easterly breeze the fleets were tested in a variety of flat water and the usual awkward seaway around the back of Saddle Island.
