It's going to be a very exciting season for the large ClubSwan fleet, both in one-design and rating categories. Full of event and different taste, from the technical courses windward - leeward to the easier coastal races, to offshore regattas. With a Swan any kind of sail is possible.
Giovanni Pomati CEO of Nautor Swan says: "I'm happy to kick off another exciting racing season. Our goal is not only to push the boundaries of performance but also to cultivate a community where the spirit of competition is balanced with friendship and mutual respect. The 2025 racing calendar is a celebration of the unity that sailing brings, and we eagerly look forward to seeing these values shine through in every race".
The most significant events of the season will be Swan One Design World Championship in Porto Cervo, along with the St. Tropez Nations Trophy.
Federico Michetti, head of sport activities at Nautor Swan, says: "A stellar, intense and undiscovered season awaits us. Our boats will sail in the most wonderful places in the Mediterranean where the teams will give their all, ClubSwan is competitiveness but also a great desire to be together, in a unique mix. We have new owners who I'm sure will give us a run for our money, great excitement also the arrival of the ClubSwan 28 and the ClubSwan 43 that we can't wait to see in action".
During the last weekend the Primo Cup-UBS Trophy in Monaco has provided the début on the international circuit of the ClubSwan 28. It took nerves of steel to triumph in this class, with Hatari, owner Marcus Brenneke, pulling off impressive wins in a battle with Anya Race, owner Giulio Gatti: they ended with the same score. Mr Brenneke, owner of the world champion ClubSwan 50 Hatari, was particularly happy of the race on the small fresh new one design: "It was a great experience to compete in the ClubSwan 28 for the first time at the Primo Cup: the organization and set up was perfectly handled by the ClubSwan Racing team so we only needed to step on the boat. Different to my ClubSwan 50 this is more a dinghy like sailing and therewith it is obviously a bit more intense with 5 people on the boat. We managed to improve very quickly every day and therewith catching up with teams who have been sailing longer". Black Swan helmed by Lorenzo Bortolotti, Managing Director of Nautor Swan Monaco and a YCM racer, completed the podium.
