Koper Bay delivered spectacular conditions for the second day of the 29er Eurocup #3, allowing the race committee to successfully complete four action-packed races.

Once again, the fleet was met with a steady northeast Bora wind, initially blowing at around 10 knots with gusts up to 15 knots. As the day progressed, the breeze strengthened to 13 knots, with exhilarating gusts reaching 19-20 knots. These dynamic conditions provided a challenging but thrilling experience for the sailors, pushing their skills to the limit in shifting winds.

With five races now completed, the qualifying series is well under way, setting the stage for the finals, which begin tomorrow.

Top five standings after day 2:

ITA 6 - G. Montesano / E. Coslovich (M)
FRA 4 - N. Huet Des Aunay / G. Titouan (M)
FRA 2980 - A. Mostini / R. Allain
NED 3208 - L. Hofman / R. Dieperink (M)
HUN 3302 - P. Lange / R. Lange

Category leaders:

Top Female Team: HUN 18 - B. Fehér / S. Fehér (F), currently in 8th place overall.
Top Mixed Team: SWE 3008 - E. Lagerstrand / M. Bondjers (Mix), currently in 9th place overall.

As the competition heats up, sailors will now shift their focus to the finals, where the battle for the podium intensifies. Stay tuned for more high-stakes action on the waters of Koper Bay!
