Disabled

Disabled

Sailors with a disability or long term illness can still enjoy a variety of dinghies and keelboats. Disabilities can be physical, affecting limbs, mobility, or blindness. Or there is a mental side, including autism, learning difficulties and the mental effects of cancer survivors or military veterans. Sailing is possible for all these groups, often competitively, and is known to help people tremendously.
