Dylan Fletcher & Nick Hollis won the Hobie 405 Open & National Youth and Junior Championship with a comfortable margin after scoring 8 firsts in the 15 race championship.

The superb Nationals week was held at Arun Yacht Club, Littlehampton, where the club members worked extremely hard to ensure that the event was a brilliant success both on and off the water. The weather was hot and sunny all week with a spread of winds ranging from force 1 to a force 4. The racing was very close behind Dylan and Nick, and any one of 7 boats could have clinched 2nd spot on the final day.

One of the 4 Danish entries, Maja Stendal & Annie Hansen took the 2nd Open position with Holly and Sophie Tuckwood following in 3rd (2nd GBR boat) on discard from Huw Humphries & Max Todd in 4th.

The British youth and junior sailors competed very well against the top Danish teams, emphasising the quality within the 405 squads.
