Valentine's Day - why not show your boat some love too?

ARE YOU READY FOR THE NEW SEASON?

It's a busy time of year preparing your boat for the sailing season ahead. To help you tick everything off, we have compiled a list of the things we check and replace on our own boats. To get you started, the first part of our New Season Checklist is below:

Hull
Wash the hull and decks using a decent boat cleaner. Consider using a polish with a UV inhibitor to prevent fade. Polish the brightwork and re-oil the teak. We currently have 15% off Starbrite products.

Rudder & Anodes
Replace those anodes now, don't wait for the first scrub of the year. If they are looking tired, it isn't worth taking the risk. Check the cutlass bearings and rudder fittings, don't leave these until the last minute.

Antifoul
Now's the time to tackle it, it's on offer and it's fine to apply it well in advance of launching. Take a look at our antifoul special offer.

Sails & Covers
If serious attention is needed, get them to the sailmaker before the rush. Check the batten pockets and bolt ropes as these are the likely wear points. Fox's is a drop off and collection point for Dolphin Sails so we can sort this out for you.

Mooring Gear
Pull out the fenders and re-inflate or replace them as needed and at the same time give your warps and mooring gear the once over.
