Ewa Lewandowska Shortlisted for Young Sailor of the Year at the World Sailing Awards 2024

The 29er Class Association is thrilled to announce that Ewa Lewandowska from Poland, a standout in the 29er sailing class, has been nominated for Young Sailor of the Year at the prestigious World Sailing Awards 2024.

Ewa's incredible journey has seen her rise to the top of the sport with these major achievements in the past two years:

  • Youth Worlds 2023 in Brazil (1st place - Women's)
  • Youth Worlds 2024 in Garda (1st place - Men/Mix)
  • European Champion 2024 (Overall)
  • Kieler Woche 2024 (Winner)
  • Open World Championship 2024 (2nd overall, 1st Youth Team)
Ewa's dedication, skill, and relentless passion for sailing have not only led her to these incredible victories but also made her a role model for young sailors worldwide.
