LEG 2: Madeira - St. Barths

Karine Fauconnier and Lionel Lemonchois onboard Sergio Tacchini-Itinéris have crossed the finish line in St-Barths this morning at 10h50'38'', French time. 18 days 10h 53m 13s: that's the time they needed to sail the 2620 miles (4 852 km) between Madeira and St-Barths, the average speed was 5.94 knots. They sailed 27 days 9 hours and 50 minutes, with an average speed of 5.72 knots on the two legs.

Gildas Morvan and Bertrand De Broc on board Cercle Vert crossed the finish line at 14h56'30'', French time. They took 18 days 15h 00' 44''to sail 2620 miles (4 852 km) between Madeira and St-Barths, an average speed of 5,88 knots. Cercle Vert arrived 4 hours 05 minutes 52 seconds after the first boat. A big gap finally which has been done in the last 4 days. Two years ago, 10 boats arrived in this time!

Jérémie Beyou & Pascal Bidégorry on Volkswagen Castrol have crossed the final line of St-Barths at 16h35'23'', French time. Volkswagen Castrol reached St-Barths 5 hours and 45 minutes after Karine Fauconnier and Lionel Lemonchois. The winner of the first leg did not manage to win the Transat as it usually happens: during the last 5 AG2R transat, the winner of the first leg has never managed to win the final race.
