Back in action

The Soto 40 South American Tour starts Friday with the Off Valparaíso Race, first stage of the circuit that will carry the fleet to Chile, Uruguay and Brazil, concluding with the celebration of its third World Championship in this country.

The Off Valparaíso Race will be held at the Yacht Club de Chile (YCCH) -located in Recreo- with the participation of eight boats: Apolonia, Estampa del Viento, Itaú, Mitsubishi, Phoenix, Pisco Black, Reloaded and Santander. Besides being the first stage of the Soto 40 South American Tour, this is the second date of the Chile’s Nacional Oceánico Championship.

Eight windward-leeward races are scheduled for the next three days in the Valparaíso bay. First warning signal is scheduled for tomorrow at 1 pm CLST.

Friday 17 9:30-12:00: Registration and measurements (YCCH) 10:00: Skippers meeting (Casino de Oficiales Escuela Naval) 13:00: First warning signal for the first race of the day (Valparaíso bay)

Saturday 18 13:00: First warning signal for the first race of the day (Valparaíso bay) 18:30: Fellowship event (YCCH)

Sunday 19 12:00: First warning signal for the first race of the day (Bahía de Valparaíso) 18:30: Awards ceremony (Casino de Oficiales Escuela Naval)
