PRATT Racing Series at Eastbourne Sovereign Sailing Club - Update

Fourth place in any event is a really miserable place to be. You are in sight of the podium and the prizes you crave but they are denied you. You smile and curse your luck as the winners celebrate but really for whatever reason you were just not good enough. Not only that you have to write the flipping race report telling everyone how good the others were!
Except of course if you were competing at Eastbourne in the personal handicap PRATT Racing Series, where 4th place sends you home with a cheeky smile and a spring in your step.
In this high point scoring series 4th place gives you the most points possible without incurring a handicap penalty for next week!
As if he wasn't lippy enough, Harrison Bassett was unbearable as not only did he return to the top of the leaderboard and claim the leaders pink top, but his light wind technique took him into 4th place after the PRATT Ratings were applied to the finishing times. He had achieved the Holy Grail of Pratt Racing.
With his exams finished life is good for this young man, now if only he could find a girlfriend...
The PRATT Racing Series was the first winner in the #GetOutAndSail initiative. The June winner will be announced tomorrow and we need your nominations for July events - nominate your event here!
